OUTNUMBERED ~ ONE HOUR CINNAMON ROLLS

These incredibly soft and delicious cinnamon rolls come together in just one hour! This recipe yields 24 heavenly rolls that will disappear in minutes.

Cook Time: 12-15 minutes

Equipment Needed:

  • Stand mixer with dough hook
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Rolling surface
  • 2 large cookie sheets
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 3½ cups warm water
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 6 tablespoons active dry yeast (or 4½ tablespoons SAF-Instant yeast)
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 10½ cups all-purpose flour
  • Extra oil for handling dough

For the Filling:

  • ½ cup melted butter (divided between two rectangles)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

For the Classic Frosting:

  • ½ cup (1 cube) butter, softened
  • 2 dashes salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 cups powdered sugar
  • Milk (as needed for consistency)

Variations for Frosting:

  • Orange Rolls: Add frozen orange juice concentrate to taste
  • Chocolate Rolls: Add cocoa powder and a few drops of water
