- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste

- 2 cups shredded Oaxaca or mozzarella cheese
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
