- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy and smooth.
 - Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

 - Combine Dry Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

 - Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
 - Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula or wooden spoon.

 - Form Cookies:
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

 - Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still soft.
 - Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Tips:
- For chewier cookies, underbake them slightly, as they will continue to set as they cool on the baking sheet.
 - You can add nuts or use different types of chocolate chips (milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or white chocolate) to customize your cookies.
 - If you prefer a thicker cookie, chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before baking.

Enjoy your easy chocolate chip cookies!
